What we do

Our History

Buddy Jones boasts over 50 years of experience in the mining industry. Southland Resources obtained a mining license in 1992 for a small personal property, marking its inception. In 1998, the acquisition of the Searles property launched a 20-year mining initiative. Today, Southland Resources has grown significantly, employing 125 dedicated professionals. In 2022, the company expanded its portfolio with additional property, ensuring another 20+ years of mining operations.
